We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team of software engineers in Austin, Texas. This role is pivotal in overseeing the development lifecycle, mentoring engineers, and driving the strategic execution of large-scale technical projects. You’ll be expected to blend strong technical expertise with excellent people management skills to build scalable systems and nurture a culture of innovation and collaboration.

Your experience should include...

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development experience

  • 3+ years of engineering management or team leadership experience

  • Strong foundation in system architecture and software design principles

  • Proficiency in backend languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go) and modern frameworks

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices

  • Proven track record of leading complex technical projects to successful completion

  • Excellent communication, project management, and team-building skills

You might also have...

  • Experience scaling engineering teams in a fast-growing tech environment

  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools

  • Background in security, compliance, or data governance

  • Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue)
